Luka also talked about the importance of Morris as a voice in the locker room. He is a big locker room vibes guy. Vet min is worth it at this point for him.

And its probably a longshot, but maybe he wants to ring chase, but Kyle Lowry really intrigues me.

Good names. I’ll throw PatBev on there also.

We got Naji Marshall to fight people. Don't need Morris anymore.

Hopefully get a real player with that $4 million

The Miami Heat believe that their team is good enough to contend at full strength, per @flasportsbuzz

“But an NBA official who has spoken to the Heat said Miami continues to say that while it wants to improve the team, it believes it has a roster good enough to contend if healthy. That’s seemingly impossible to prove or disprove, because they’re rarely fully healthy.”

Won't DSJ get more than the minimum with  how well of a defender he is considered now?
what do we need more? Hardy insurance or Maxi insurance?

I guess you could say Exum is Hardy insurance and Omax is Maxi insurance

I don't get into a twist about things like that. It'd be one thing if they didn't have young guys around developing, but they have a ton. More than they can actually plausibly develop, honestly.

If they want to use those last couple of spots on guys like Morris and Powell (whom are probably around just because they're cool guys and won't bitch about not playing ahead of guys clearly better than them), more power to them. They're the ones who have to get on the team plan and deal with the day-to-day life of this. Clearly, teams think they get something out of choices like that.

Yeah, I agree with everything you said here.  It's definitely not a big deal, every team has a cheerleader at the end of the bench.

They need another PF. Too much rides on PJ staying healthy. Maxi will miss time and Omax is a wildcard.

I’m actually okay with Naji/Omax being able to handle the role when Maxi misses games.

I was all for a third creator before the offseason started, but it would have to be a serious guy. If we are just looking at some very flawed players at vet min, I am happy to live with Exum and Hardy. I rather give minutes to them. If you can't rely on Exum he can be your third string PG, he will not last in the league.

Is it bad that I'm still kind of gun-ho on getting Thybulle here...?

Agreed. Unless the plan is to play Marshall there some, which is very possible.

Plus they MUST find out whether Hardy is worth extending or needs to go at the deadline. I say give him the ball and find out what happens.

I understand that logic. It's not that I don't trust Exum the player. I do. He is a very good backup PG and works well pushing the pace and being a smart creator. But it's Exum's health I don't trust. If he goes down, we're basically relying on Hardy to do ALL secondary creator minutes when one of Luka or Kyrie isn't on the court.

I can see the appeal of getting a guy who can facilitate and just let Hardy be the bucket getter that he is.

Kyle Anderson get anyone going?

Would he be interested in taking a pretty massive pay-cut signing a 1+1 4.5 mil deal?

100% need a guy who can step in for Maxi. Got to be a ring chasing big out there somewhere.
