NBA folks keep connecting Sacramento to various wings on the market. Kings registered interest in DFS before the trade deadline, sources said. Sacramento's been linked to Kyle Kuzma. The Kings were a potential Zach LaVine suitor, but that seems less likely without Alex Caruso.

I know he had some kind of unspecified off court issues, but players typically play well in the GS system. Seeing him not being the same player for the past two years really scares me off.
IF GS does decide to blow things up in a year or so and go young, I would be interested in crazy Draymond though.
I'm not a huge fan Wiggins but was he really a different player last year than he has been in the past.
He lost 5 minutes per game last year compared to previous years which is a big reason for his statistically downturn.
Moreover Kerr was messing with his lineups all season long to placate Kuminga.
If Wiggins were to get traded I'm pretty sure he would match his numbers from pervious seasons. He can be had for cheap maybe even GSW gives the Mavs a sweetener to get out of the salary cap situation they are in.
He would definatley be an upgrade to DJJ.

Update: Washington has emerged as another viable trade destination for Dallas' Tim Hardaway Jr., league sources say.
The teams, remember, recently did business at the trade deadline to land Daniel Gafford in Dallas.

Trae Young is not expected to fetch a trade package similar to those of Mikal Bridges or Rudy Gobert on the trade market, per @BobbyMarks42
“Dejounte Murray actually has more value than Trae Young at this stage”
One of my favorite subtle story lines of the last 2 seasons was Luka finally putting to rest the Trae vs. Luka, who won the trade debate. I mean it was all obvious to us from the moment they stepped on the court, but now the greater NBA universe sees the truth.
This has always been funny to me too. I always like to look at the "reverse" trade of this
Like can you imagine trading Luka Doncic for Trae Young and a top 10 protected 2026 pick?

I'm thinking that would have lasted another couple weeks in the regular season. I think Kidd needed his length and defense and gambled on the offense and BOS was able to call him on it.
I'm not crying if he stays in DAL, but I feel like it's time to move on with someone more mobile and durable. I hope he gets into a good situation to finish his career.
Guys who can rim protect while also switching on the perimeter and posing a threat from 3:
KD
Jaren Jackson Jr.
Horford
Turner
Herb Jones
Wemby
Maxi
Who else? Can’t play 5 out without one of those guys.

‼️The Dallas Mavericks keep circling back to the fact that they have the capabilities to pull the trigger and offer something substantial that could entice Portland for the services of Jerami Grant. A formal approach could be made shortly.

I don’t want to jettison maxi unless there is a clear upgrade. But I am in the boat that I want a backup 4 who can score and create. Keep Maxi as a matchup piece if he is not required in trade. I have my eyes on Bojan. Hayward is more likely though.
If we keep DJJ I hope we have wings sf who can really defend. I want that PF position to be able to pick up some scoring slack. Pj being more consistent in his shot is a big part of this.

I know it's unorthodox but I'd also throw in Jerami Grant (who hasn't really shown this since Denver) and Draymond Green

Again if it is just a Tim only trade, the goal is to free up money to resign DJJ and not use a good asset to do so. Don’t get you hopes up of it being an exciting package.
That is ok though if they get off Hardaway realtively painless.

If I were to guess with Morey, I think he gambled with the Charlotte Bridges. Maybe him, kcp and then a trade with guys like DeRozan, Ingram or someone like that. If there is room for all that.
I think he gambles on Bridges though. Up his alley

Basically, you spend Green and 2025 to get Bogdan, Grimes and space to keep DJJ. That is an upgrade (and I'm a Green fan). In fact, you might need to send Hardy out in this to give Detroit an Ivey replacement.
Who are you referring to, Dan? Bogdan Bogdanovic of the Atlanta Hawks? Or Bojan Bogdanovic, who was with the Pistons before he went to the Knicks? Or anybody else…?
