My only gripe is passing on Whitmore, otherwise, I'm fine with this.

I so desperately want them to get back into this draft. THJ for Holmes + #24 +#38? Get Sensabaugh and Vukcevic.

There is definitely a reason for his free fall we don't know about yet.

Rumor is health concerns. I’m willing to take that risk on a top 5 talent at 12

Clearly Nico doesn´t believe much in those 20-30 college/g-league games, and just picks based on highschool projections. Worked with Hardy. That might suggest they could try to get an extra pick for Whitehead, who was also top 5 projected before all his injuries.

I’ll touch on it when I have time, but more to this than just Lively. TPE for someone above the MLE. Room to use the MLE and stay under the 1st apron. The math on this is really positive if we are willing to be hard capped. Also have flexibility if Kyrie screws us.

Have a gaping hole at PF and C
Lively is about as raw as Josh Green. We'll be talking about him in 2026 whether he's ready to the next step

Nice. I was debating Lively vs Whitmore. Both would have been great. Lovely’s best trait fits this team better than Whitmore’s best trait. But let’s see if either reaches their potential.
Great to free up the MLE plus TPE. Mark is under the gun, he will try to use both imo.
Mavs also keep some assets and future draft to use for the right move as well.
Let’s go.

I also wonder who is going to start at center. It won’t be Lively.
