I would like to do those movement plays with Din that Jalen did.  Like that better then him dribbling outside.  If he gets a shoulder by you, he is tough. Have him going down hill more.

Terrible game and the Mavs were gifted by the refs late.  But the refs were terrible all game.  But Mavs played ok late.  Din and wood especially.  Hardaway and bullock  provided no offense late though.

Lead by example. Dirk had to carry bad rosters and never showed this kind of attitude.

Dirk was great, but he could never do this. 35 point triple double with 50% shooting, two clutch 3s to get to overtimes.  He’s unreal.

Replace "at times" with "most of the time".
And replace "the Mavs" with Kidd, because this is his design.

The problem is still overall talent and roster configuration. 

I agree they should run more, and that is automatically taking the ball out of Luka´s hands some, but please no Iso Wood or THJ in the half-court.

Comparing their statlines is difficult. Dirk´s prime was in one of the slowest and most defensive minded eras in league history and he played a completly different style. Didn´t need the ball to make an impact. If you look at the offensive numbers of Dirk and a cast of role players he had them among the best in the league each year. If you look at his +/- numbers he is levels above Luka. Reality of the 00s Mavs was that the non DIrk minutes were worse than the non Luka minutes this year.

Yep, I don't like ISO ball either. But, you can move the ball and play faster. Hell, Luka does it with Slovenian national team.

Some observations about the Mavs:

1) I truly believe Kidd didn't know the rules about anyone on the team could shoot free throws after the flagrant on Westbrook.  That was a terrible possession.  Missed 2 free throws and Bullock with a wide open missed 3

2) If Wood started from Game 1, Dallas easily could have had more wins on their ledger and been a top 2 team in the West

3) Bullock's minutes need to be replaced by Josh Green moving forward
