I haven't seen Minny but heard on a podcast (I think Zach Lowe's) that Edwards came in a little overweight. Looks like it in that picture. I just don't understand how guys can come in overweight...especially at that young age. What Luka can do in great shape really makes him impossible to guard. There is no excuse for a player to come in out of shape. I can understand taking a break from basketball, but you need to treat your body right.

Did the Kings wait too long to try to move Harrison Barnes? He scored 0 points last night and is averaging under 10 points per game for the year. Still early, but not promising signs. Add to the fact that R. Holmes got a DNP-coaches decision last night.

Barely. The Mavs get credit for winning close games lately though.

On one hand, the temptations are great out there and there is so much garbage food and drink to indulge yourself with.
But on the other hand, their bodies are literally their livelihood and there are generations of athletes who have gone before them who have demonstrated that those who take care of their bodies best and eat in the most disciplined way, will rise above the rest.

Here's an interesting analysis of why the Gobert/KAT pairing isn't ideal, offensively. I think there are some other points to be made, defensively, but offensively, I think this applies to the Mavs' current situation with Wood and Powell or McGee.

I would take him in DAL, depending on the cost.
Not sure we need another big man that can't play defense. Kidd wouldn't play him anyway.

Wonder what it'd be like to have the greatest shooting big man of all time play for Dallas

I really, really hate his attitude. He acts so accomplished for someone that has accomplished very little in the NBA.

Summed up my feelings on KAT perfectly.
Dude is arrogant for having so little success. I think KAT has a loser mentality and I'd steer clear of any deal for him unless it's a no brainer.

Don't need him, we already have Bertans.
