I am in disbelief. 

Not over the cost for Gobert - I expected that. I just can't believe they think pairing him with KAT is a good idea.

I am in disbelief. 3 unprotected firsts, 1 mildly protected 1st, and Kessler (whose essentially a first).

5 picks for Gobert. 

On top of that they gave up Vanderbilt, who was like the most important defender for the Wolves. Add in Beverly and Beasley and Wolves just gutted their entire team for Gobert.

Well, as things stand right now, I'd say UTAH is taken completely off of the playoff board (could change). So, that's good for the Mavs.

And, while this might make Minnesota appear better (they obviously think so) I think some us probably feel this puts a hard ceiling on them, and imo, that ceiling is lower than where the Mavericks already are (could be wrong).

Ideally UTA is taken out of the playoff race, so that's a 5th seed gone. 

MIN just went all in on an awkward fit and gutted their team. I think they only have 1 SF in Taurean Prince, and that's about it. They're also capped out right now, unless they can find a taker for Russell
