He's 18.  Go watch Kobe film from his rookie season.  It's a massive leap to the NBA.

Jaden Hardy is a disaster when he's doing anything other than catching and shooting. But when he just sticks to shooting, he is one of the best on the team. In fact, he could probably average 15 in this league if he just focused on being a spot-up shooter. Instead, he's trying to be this combo scoring guard making stuff happen off the dribble. He should workout with Klay to change his entire offensive approach.

Just a disappointing night. I thought the defense was solid early but that could have been OKC know they could win with the C game. Really nothing positive about this performed and Dallas appears light years away from OKc.

The offense is just brutal to watch tonight.

Flagg so far is flashing solid team guy potential not generational player talent. I’d like to see him have some impact on the game.

I don’t know what people expected. Flagg looks like a rookie a lot of the time. Klay is in a slump. No Kyrie, Lively, Gafford vs the Champs on the second night of a back to back. It was never going to be pretty.

Also Flagg not as aggressive on d and getting boards - he’s got long way to go. From what I’ve seen he needs come off the bench

If we’re counting on lively and gafford we are in big trouble.

Edgecomb too. Much better. Cooper has a ways to go to join the ROY race. You’d at least think he could get a rebound, assist, or something.

Mavs with the great strategy for a comeback in today's NBA. Let OKC take all these lazy threes...either they make them and we lose by 20+ or they brick them all and the Mavs have a chance. Frank Vogel masterpiece?

AD’s value on both ends on full display during this comeback.

He literally just switched onto SGA and shut him down to give the Mavericks a chance to tie the game after this time out.

I can’t believe more people aren’t appreciative of what he brings to the table.

I don’t think they’re going to win this game, but fighting back from a 20 point deficit in the 2nd half of the 4th quarter on the second night of a back to back against the champs…that’s not nothing, people.

There’s something here - they just need to find it.

Klay needs to go. We need a 3 point shooter bad

D-Lo with 10 assists and a +7 but that poor shooting was a killer, especially those bricks from three. It will be hard to win games if both D-Lo and Klay are ice cold, especially with the volume of shots they get. #2 and #3 in shot attempts tonight  Sick

A line of 2-2-0 in 31 minutes isn’t going to cut it, even for a rookie. The lack of a floor game is concerning, even if you expect Flagg to develop some shooting touch.

He's an 18-year-old forward who's being asked to play PG for the literal first time in his life during his first 5 games in the freaking NBA.

His passing abilities and ball-handling are both 10x better than I expected in my wildest dreams. His shot creation and shooting (both off the catch and bounce) are a little disappointing by comparison, because they're only about 4x better than I expected in my wildest dreams.

THEY ARE NOT USING HIM IN A WAY THAT'S GOING TO WORK RIGHT AWAY.

Christie's defense on SGA was pretty good
I hope his minutes stay consistent. Still maintain that our main goal this year needs to be growing and developing Flagg, Christie, and Lively
Get them ready for next year and hope Kyrie bounces back fully

Agreed, and he wasn't the only one. The entire defensive plan on SGA (and in general) was great tonight. SGA's first free throws came at the end, when the Mavs were forced to foul. As we know from watching the strongest foul grifter in the sport for the past few years, that's a significant accomplishment.
