What I mean by "then" is -- was it a choice between Facu or Walker, and they opted for Facu before?

Kemba wasn't waived until after Facu was signed if I remember correctly (same day, but Facu first then Kemba).  I suspect Detroit and Dallas played chicken all summer.  Both lost.
