A Few Thoughts on Knicks 106, Mavs 103

KP I thought looked terrible and yet you look at his box score and he got a 20/11 double double. He had some nice passes I thought (only 1 assist logged but nice passes all the same). His shooting was not good but he still ended up with 20 points.

It is still amazing that with all the problems he has he is still above his career averages in points and rebounds. Mentally he is just not there for some reason but he's so talented that even when he's struggling he's a good player. Eventually he is going to get it all together if he can just stay the course and the Mavs can build around his strengths.
Thanks, SBJ. Yeah, I was very disappointed too, but found that trying to analyze it calmed me down some.

Donnie gave an interview yesterday and said that this year was a time for Luka and KP to learn to play together, and it is just going to take some time.

Your comments remind me of stuff going on in another sport. I don't know if you or anyone else follows Spanish soccer, but FC Barcelona fans are always (with some justification) talking about badly Barca is doing, but then we have to remind ourselves that they are still first in La Liga and first in their Championship League group, lol. Even though KP struggled, he still had 20/11. Good point!
