I had absolutely no qualms with how the Mavs played in the first half. They were amazing. Luka was having another night of transcendent passing and the team was hitting their shots.
That third quarter was rocky as can be. JRich especially made me the most mad with him fumbling the ball away, simultaneously giving away the momentum.
But the Mavs stuck out and rallied, playing nearly flawless basketball to close it out and didn't get rattled at all.
Overall a fantastic win.
EDIT: I do want to add that I think this game showcased the need for an elite roller on this team. Someone who commands a certain presence as a roller would be a perfect combo man for Luka. Powell is close to that. WCS and KP leave a lot to be desired there.
