TRADE: JJ Redick + Nicolo Melli to DAL | JJ + Iwundu + 2021 2nd + cash to NOP

If trade with them, they also need to send salary out. To Dallas or someone else. And here is the problem. Jordan would fit, but I don't want anything to do with him and he is buddy, buddy with those Nets stars anyway. Dinwiddie is in the salary range, but he is arguably better. The rest are too expensive or have too little wage. I would be very interested in Claxton or Shamet, with their combined salaries at 5.5 mil. But I think Brooklyn is a big time loser in this kind of trade.

The Nets issue is I don't think they are going to be able to use any exceptions bc they are too close to a hard cap. A S&T would also trigger a hard cap. They are in the same boat as the Warriors. The way they will improve is through trades and vet mins, not exceptions and S&Ts.
