Mavs 115, Lakers 110
#3
WCS was really good.  I have to be honest, WCS is not my cup of tea.   But he has been good this year.  I would have strongly preferred Marc Gasol over him this offseason.  I think the mavs have gotten better production from WCS, I think.    He definitely had an impact.  Is it wrong though that I am still not fully on board? Regardless, he has clearly surpassed my expectations so far.  Getting 21 points and active play from two of your energy big man is a big addition.  You can't count on that every game, but most of their points are easy buckets.  This teams needs more of that.

I thought KP's offensive game was one of his better ones.  I loved how active he was and not just a guy who stands around the perimeter.   Making plays off the dribble is a nice addition.   I think the more active he on offense, the better he plays.

I thought the ball movement was great when Luka went out with 2 fouls.    I agree with the TNT folks, that we rely on him too much though.    Sometimes it feels like they forget they can dribble when they are trying to get the ball to Luka.

I loved how JJ looked last night.    On the other hand, I am not crazy how Hardaway has been playing.   I want Hardaway to be aggressive looking to score, but he looks to have a one track mind recently.  He really forces it.  It works when it goes in, but I think a lot of times there are better shots to look for.    I guess JJ back next year is probably not in the cards, but he has looks really good.

That is a big, physical Laker team.  They may potentially run out of time this season with their injuries and playing all their playoff rounds as the road team may be too difficult.  Although if they can get healthy and survive a early playoff round, they could round into form and be a nightmare.
