He deserves it and has outplayed Richardson and yes I think Brunson's offense is more needed than Richardson's defense.
I would also give more reps to Josh Green so that Richardson play against average offensive players to see if it helps his offense.
Agreed. On offense, he's just so much better at penetrating and making good things happen than JRich that I think it's a no brainer. Brunson is much more decisive and doesn't fiddle around dribbling the ball for more than a second or two. Keeps the defense on the, er, defense!
Also, I trust him much more than JRich to convert decent three point looks. And I don't really see him as worse defensively, anyway. Tonight, I'd also start Melli for Maxi. See what he can do. It's not like Maxi has been playing very well lately, so why not?
