"Though it’s too early to fully judge the blockbuster trade, it’s not looking as horrible as it once did for the Knicks."

Hey look -- more Knick propaganda. Let's see what they've got this time.

"Yes, Knicks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. was traded after being a bust with the Knicks..."

And Smith is still the best player they got in the deal! Funny how there's no mention of Matthews or Jordan at all.

"...but they used their cap space to sign Julius Randle, who became an All-Star this season."

Please. The Knicks already had more than enough cap space to sign Randle without doing the KP trade. They ended up using the extra money from the trade on Bobby Portis, Taj Gibson, and Elfrid Payton.

"And the Knicks (24-24) still have major cap room this summer..."

Max offer to Drummond incoming.

"In addition, at least one of their two future first-round picks from Dallas is expected to be used in a big trade."

Just like how the original cap space was expected to be used to sign two superstars?

"They have Dallas’ pick this July, though, with their recent surge, it appears the Mavericks won’t land in the lottery."

The last Knicks draft pick to sign a multi-year contract with New York after his rookie deal was Charlie Ward, who was drafted in 1994.
