I view the JJ Reddick trade as a small upgrade that may or may not work out. We will see. I wasn't expecting much. Sure, I had a fantasy of Gordon, but wasn't expecting it. I also had role of the dice of Drummond, Fournier, Oladipo as a talent grab. I wasn't expecting that. If a move was made, I was in favor of moving Johnson and getting a bigger wing/power forward type.
Even with Johnson, I thought this team was one PF away. I don't know if there was a move that would make us a serious contender this year, but I think they need another big body if they want to be some kind of threat imo. So I will be watching the buyout market. I am not sure if Melli is the answer. I am sure they will keep him if nothing opens, but I hope something opens. Time for the front office to close a guy if the right one hits the buyout market.
