Is that why people are mad?
Listen I know the cupboard is a bit bare right now, but look at some other trades that happened today and compare what a late 2nd rounder gets you (Not counting Fournier because that was a TPE deal and ORL definitely could've gotten more).
Matt Thomas (end of bench guy that has averaged a whopping 4ppg) for a UTA 2nd rounder
Terrence Davis (who is not bad 6ppg guy but not necessarily good) for a SAC 2nd rounder
JJ Redick is by far and away a much higher quality player than those guys. Not even close imo. Further, imagine Redick playing next to a guy like Luka. The amount of wide open threes he's going to have will give us a semblance of what Curry brought to the team. Worth a 40 something 2nd rounder.
