Even getting in Luka’s face and saying “give me the ball, kid” in an aggressive way would’ve been a step up, imo. Luka IS just a kid, after all. He needs guidance, no matter how great he is. You’d think a 25 year old Porzingis would notice there’s a leadership vacuum on this team and try to make himself more valuable by filling it.
KP is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't in that situation. Luka is fan and pundit darling and his co-star is getting spit-roasted. "OMG he stormed off the court" would turn into "OMG why he is upset in a blowout victory and demanding the ball". Luka is great and all, but if I'm playing great and my co-star is struggling, I'd do my damnedest to get the guy involved. If not in a blow game, then when? And if not in that play, then when?
If I'm in KP's situation, I'd want out of this situation. If this continues to play out, it's not good for his career long term.
