I loved this deal at the time, and man was I wrong. This is Rondo level bad. We had arguably one of the best five shooters in the NBA. He's on a super team-friendly deal too. The plan was to improve our defense, which has not happened at all. Instead our offense is worse and J-Rich in my eyes provides absolutely nothing, Seth couldn't have done. Such a bummer. And I can't even blame the MBT. I got their reasoning, but in hindsight, top end shooting is just super super valuable and can't be made up by slightly better individual defense. Let's hope we don't look back and this trade was the beginning of the end of Luka in Dallas (ok, that's hyperbolic. Still you get the point)
