Every team heads into games against the Mavs knowing that they can shoot lights out from 3 against us...it doesn't matter if they are good or bad. So a Top-10 shooting team like Portland can drain threes with ease, tough to win like that.
Mavs defense just isn't good enough...maybe that falls on Jamahl Mosley, who I don't think is that good in his defensive coordinator role.
I think our perimeter defenders are actually not that bad, but because there is no interior help defense our perimeter defenders are reluctant to body up and force the shooters to drive. Also everyone know when players have the confidence that they can go the paint and score easily anytime the defender guards the tight, then suddenly everything starts falling.
