Just my opinion.
I don’t think he is that bad but if he is, his game did not suddenly regress. The MBT knew exactly what sort of a dinosaur he was in the modern game when they gave him that contract. Again I have no probs in a lot of games, but I would have at least put him for 5 mins when Kanter was in. If he played well give him 5 more mins. Not like any of our other so called faster players were offering any resistance against Kanter anyway.
Bottom line for me is that if the coach is reluctant to play him against Kanter, then he is a waste of a roster space.
