The super-Luka-dependent offense is necessary for now, in order to survive, and it seems to be working all right at the moment, at least against some of the league's weaker teams. And they realistically probably don't have much choice.
But, bigger picture, if they want to contend, they really need more non-Luka playmaking ability out there. Brunson furnishes that to a degree, but heavy minutes for him involves a trade-off on the defensive end. Maybe Josh can grow into that, which would be great. Or, maybe they need a roster addition. Or some combination of solutions.
Not an emergency, like the defense. But still important.
