For all of his being dismissed as a scrub, Burke had PER numbers northwards of 15 throughout the 2018-19 season in both New York and Dallas. I believe the same is true for his Philly stint. I was irritated in the summer of 2019 that he was a player more useful than Lee and more consistent than THJ, and he was just going to be kicked to the curb.
Anyone concerned about this contract being a waste is just a hater.
Then again, I like WCS, so maybe I just don't know anything about NBA players and should just be ignored.
