He shot 35/29/60 in his first two years. Magic decided against picking up his 2+2 option. Then he shot 42/37/95 for the rest of the year.
It´s basically the Risacher situation. For one team he´s a failed lottery pick on a high salary, while all the Mavs need is a solid rotation guy from 6 to 10 that they can pay accordingly.
