I'm way behind the discussion, but wondering about this swap idea ...
MINN gets Martin (2 yrs), Johnson (exp)
DAL gets Josh Green (exp)
Salary is about a wash in year 1. Mavs get a needed roster space, and finally end their Martin saga. MINN gets an extra year of Martin, but if he's needed for them, his 10M salary lasting another year probably is a plus. If MINN had a 2nd to send, that would probably balance the trade values better, but I would probably pull the trigger anyhow.
