I am not too worried about finding a "point guard". The growth we saw from Cooper this year was amazing. As he gets older, he will have the ball a ton. I think the key is finding smart players who are a threat when they have the ball and can also play when they don't have the ball. Get 3-4 of those guys on the court at the same time and you are going to be pretty good if you have a potential top 10 player.
Now, Cooper did play really well when he was playing with a point guard. I hope Nembhard sticks around, but as he gets better he will be able to excel without a true lead guard. Finding several more guys who are a threat with the ball in their hands is the key. They need to be quick decision makers though and think the game right. Cooper does, so if you find guys who see the game similar it will work just fine.
For me, Kingston and Wagler are my two hopes for 9. Different players but I think they would fit really well. Both probably come off the bench to start the year. After that, I have some guys who I could talk myself into, but it is much more muddy. In fact, I may go an unconventional route if both are gone. Not sure yet.
