Jason Kidd OUT! Who will be the Mavs' next HC?

I like the length and floor spacing Smith would add to Flagg.  I think there is untapped upside there and from a timeline standpoint, he joins Lively, Flagg, Christie and #9 as a full logical starting five of the future.  Eason moves into the starting slot in Houston and Martin takes on the Eason bench role.  It is a downgrade there, but a huge upgrade at PG.  I think this makes a ton of sense for both teams.

I hadn't dug into the picks last night, but I love what Dirknows is selling.  Either of the 2027 picks could be attractive (Phoenix unprotected or BKN swap rights).  I think I'd be happy with the worst of those two.  I don't think there is a path to getting our 2029 pick back.  Didn't that go outright to BKN?  I think they just swapped it as part of another deal.  Could be wrong as I'm still on cup number on.

A kyrie could open the floodgates.  IN the package you describe, that would mean PJ would be redundant.    Klay would be on the move.   Marshall?   That could really be the starting point for a pretty crazy offseason.

As of now, I expect Kyrie will be back.  It is definitely something to discuss though.
