Or, would it be Sheppard plus S&T Eason? Probably the one I wouldn’t want would be VanVleet + S&T Eason mainly because of Eason’s injury history. I think I would consider VanVleet + Jabari. There are only so many versions that work if Houston is a Kyrie destination.
I have no idea of Kyrie's value, but I mentioned Jabari and Reed last night. That seems like a lot for Houston, but you could tell me that is too much or too little. I am not huge fans of either Jabari or Reed, but they would re-stock the youth. It just seems like a gamble for Houston to give up all that youth for an older player. It appears Jabari is sort of redundant there. Reed not as much but minutes could be more challenging with FVV back and Kyrie.
Thinking about it it would probably be easier to get Smith than Reed. I agree there are many different variations. If they didn't want to include Reed, they have some good draft assets as well.
