MAVS hire Masai Ujiri as new team President

Who knows what level of influence Masai had with the CMB drafting and the Poetl extension.   He was fired the day after the draft and Poetl was extended at the beginning of July.  I am sure he was involved, but seems like a weird time for the Raptors front office.

The CMB draft work was undoubtedly done under Ujiri's regime. He was still in charge until a few days after the draft, and the owner probably timed that deliberately to be able to have the benefit of his familiarity with the various choices.

The Poeltl extension was done in July. That one was not his decision, and is on the people in charge at that point who were planning the road ahead for the team.
