No one cares about him now, he can't shut anyone from the organization, nor he can provide sources to them. In that regard, journalists would be happy to scapegoat him for the guys who are in the organization who can feed them with some intel.
So, whatever they say now about Cuban, I would take it with grain of salt. He is the easiest guy for them to dismiss.
No one needs a journalist to tell them Cuban is a clown. Anyone with 2 brain cells has known this for years and years.
