After seeing Alexander Walker last night for Atlanta, I really hope he is the prototype we look at with Free agents.   He was drafted after his soph season in the first round by the Pelicans.  I believe he was almost dumped to Utah a few years later where he didn't show much.  Shrewd GM Tim Connoly acquired him as a small piece in the DLO and Conley trade.  He had some nice seasons developing into a solid bench player for Minnesota.  The let him go as a FA for a bigger payday and now he is averaging 20 points per game with Atlanta.

I couldn't agree more -- in fact I was just thinking the very same thing since they played ATL. The tricky part is figuring out who the next guy is that would be on that same sort of trajectory.
