I really hope, in addition to a new GM, the Mavs clean house on their training and strength staff. Maybe they are good at their job and just had bad luck or we have injured players. Although, this is year two (with a mostly different staff this year) where our players have been injured a ton. Plus, they have Nico stink on them as they were his hires.
In addition to paying big bucks for a established GM, my first call would be to Casey Smith. Give him a 50% raise or a new elevated title. I probably still has a house in the area. Living in NYC may be great. Or you may want to get out of the madness. He would be my first call.
