One of the guys in that video brought up something I was thinking. Why would Cuban go to all the trouble of getting investors together if he thought there was no chance to buy?
He must have some indicators that suggest they are unhappy owners or might prefer another city.... or something. If I was an investor, the first thing I would ask Cuban before calling in my assets is "They want to sell the team?" I have to think a lot of thought (and phone calls) goes into whether you want to be an investor and if it's worth it to start intense discussions on the subject without knowing if someone wants to sell.
