I mean this is the time for something like this to happen.  Its not like a GM can do a whole lot right now.  I just hope everything gets settled by the end of the season and whoever is making decisions is free to pull the trigger for next GM.

I agree, as long as the last sentence happens. My instinct is that this situation will likely drag on for a while and make the last sentence LESS likely to happen, at least with the right person getting the job (or even wanting it), but yes, in the if/then sense of things I agree with your assessment.
