I haven't listened yet, but if you're Dumont, you just state publically that you're not selling the team. Until I hear that from one party, I have to assume that there is a negotiation ongoing.

You should listen. Stein is careful to say the Adelson's position "remains unclear," but he pretty overtly states this is an attempt to see if they'd be open to bids. It's coming from the outside, not from the inside.

There is some discussion later in the clip about how the Adelsons have the right to buy Cuban down to 7% at any point during the first four years of the deal, so I'd say it's possible this could go in multiple directions at this point. Will they look at this as a way out, or as a sign they need to get deeper in? Not sure. What's becoming increasingly clear (I think) is that their partnership with Cuban isn't really working for anyone.
