I think that second sentence sounds right to me. I'm not sure it's Lindsey, but I'm guessing he changes (lessens) his role.
I'm assuming real-estate is still an issue and he wants to bring aboard an investment group that can handle that. Maybe there's even some hand-off of players from Dumont to Cuban.
I'm still not reading anything specific on the rumor-mill. Maybe the media is gathering info. Since it was Stein, I'll assume it's vetted.
