Dallas frees itself from Klay’s money next year. GS gets something for Kuminga, at a lower price.

The assumption is that Dallas doesn’t want Kuminga, and lets him walk.

Kuminga on the Warriors might be a more depressed asset than AD on the Mavs because of how sour the relationship is.  I'd think the sweetener would come back to the Mavs, even putting my fandom aside.
