Mavs tanked last year for Flagg and are ethically tanking this year for obvious reasons. Believe what you want, but pretty certain any chance the Mavs have to tell AD to take the night or even weeks off, they'll do it. If he is still on the roster next season and gets major injuries again, then I'll believe he's actually cooked.
Mavs tanked last year? I saw no hint of that. In fact it seems like Nico was rushing guys back early from injury in a desperate move to show he was right about the trade. A behavior he continued to display early this season and got him fired.
