Sometimes you need an outlet for those emotions and at least he did not go Bobby Knight, Greg Popovich or Bill Belichek his way. I supposed suppose he should have RBWS his way through it and repeated that both teams played hard, or just gone Beast Mode. I feel like that day is coming after the fines are levied.
All that said, he could have been worse... much worse.
To put a spotlight on the refs and with this improve Flaggs reputation among these folks to at least give Flagg more whistles in the future.
I think he decided within the moment to cross this line in order to help Flagg. So he did it fully consciously and deliberately.
Just think about his Mike Woodson play. He knew exactly what he was doing and took this hit on purpose.
