I wouldn't mind both Harkless and MKG but who are you cutting? Candidates:
-Boban - Need his spot minutes as we are thin at the 4/5 + he has another year under contract. Not likely.
-Justin Jackson - He's been awful. Has another year on his contract that is expensive. Leaning towards not likely.
-Lee - He's played really well in his limited minutes. A pros pro but not part of the future. Expiring contract. Likely.
-JJ - He's not getting any burn. Maybe we are saving him for the playoffs. Expiring contract. Not likely but should we consider it?
-Bro - Has an elite NBA skill but seems deficient in just about every other area. Expiring contract. Likely.
Lee and Bro would be my guesses even if they are outplaying Jackson. Not sure MBT will do two waiver pickups, however. I'd guess we are getting one. I guess the question is, and this is what the Mavs pitch should be, who would you rather have in your long terms plans between the cut candidates and Harkless/MKG?
