I don't believe Miriam has gone to a game, and Dumont has gone to like 3. Miriam big play is the gambling thing. Are they really going to want to pay 100's? (10?) millions of dollars in luxury tax? Especially for a team that is not a contender. I mean if you don't even go to the games, isn't that like just throwing money away?
In addition to this logic, there's lots out there about how much they tried to cut costs when they first bought the team. It kind of seemed like they were surprised by how much it costs to run an NBA team, and by how easy it is to lose money doing so. That's the read I got, anyway.
The wild card is the fan reaction from the Luka trade, and how they've resolved to handle that, imo. Things got pretty ugly before Harrison was fired...do they respond to that by going above and beyond, financially, even if it's only temporary, or will their response be more along the lines of "f__ it - this team was supposed to be good, but isn't, and the fans are ungrateful, anyway." Tough to predict, imo. Hopefully, we'll know more about how we can expect this team will be managed in the future after the trade deadline. I feel like I haven't been able to perceive a clear direction since that trade, personally.
