Frankly I could care less what Rich Paul wants. Find an offer we find acceptable, then we will talk. Otherwise we will call you if we find anything.
What if there were never any offers? I don´t find it hard to believe that absolutely nobody wants to give AD an extension right now and that is the ultimate deal breaker.
If my GM proposed a trade to me that included a 100/2 extension for AD, I`d ask him one question:
Do we have contracts worth $60M right now that are so bad, that I actually want to do this AD extension trade?
If his answer is yes, I make the trade and fire him.
If his answer is no, I don´t make the trade and fire him.
Either way he´s getting fired before he leaves the room.
