Nothing like paying 32 mil for a 6th man.  And what happens if our best option in the draft is a PG?  Seems like a cluster to develop what will hopefully be an elite PG with both Quickley and Kyrie on the roster.  And there will be no way to move off that Quickly contract without attaching asset(s).  Those two players will negatively impact the tank as well.  I think I would rather hold onto AD if this is my only option.

I don't have a strong opinion to make the trade. You make valid points. I'm just trying to get my head around some of these rumors and what might happen to the team. I think Kyrie would need to be moved next year if Quickley is here. I love Kyrie and think he's been a model teammate in Dallas, but it seems odd to make a youth movement, but keep Kyrie. I won't be disappointed if the Mavs pass on this trade. I was just trying to be as positive as I can with it..lol
