I think the only way a trade happens now is if we're adding more to the deal than Davis.  I don't think they would give up OO right now, but any of the other rumored pieces are in play. And remember they just did a 2 for 1 deal where they received McCollum and Kispert for Trae. They have an extra piece already. 

I can see a scenario where the major pieces are Naji /AD for Risacher /KP / Kennard. Hopefully a pick in there somewhere. 

That deal could happen now and Atlanta doesn't lose on court production.  Naji slides into the Risacher role.  KP doesnt play anyway. Kennard is not a loss. Maybe we could convince them to take Hardy to replace some Kennard minutes.   But they have Kispert for that.

I agree! I went through this mental exercise yesterday and came to a similar conclusion. In my hypothetical I liked the outcome. I think I referred to it as putting all your assets in one basket, doing a full reset.

We’ve heard that ATL has some level of interest in Gafford also. We’ve seen a report about their concerns with OO. Substituting Naji, who right now today is probably better, into the ZR role, could help them with their push to be a contender in the East sooner. Which, is what you’re calling yourself if you’re making an AD trade.
