People will once again say McMahon is being negative Mavs hater, but he´s doing the Mavs work. ATL wants to make the play-offs. AD wants an extension. Mavs just want a high draft pick. Who needs AD on the court to achieve those objectives? Not the Mavs. Negotiating position is still not good, but it´s better when Mavs make it clear they will tank this season and their actions/record reflect it.
That being said Mavs need to go on a little tank run again to not lose sight of the achievable 7th best odds. Clippers and Hornets are the main enemies, though keep an eye on Memphis. They concern me a bit.
