Just thinking out loud, I wonder if Dallas called golden state about Kuminga and offered KP?  I would think the salary relief is more important but I wonder if that was the play?  Probably not but just thinking out loud.

I think that makes a lot of sense. I´d say that is actually a likely trade, if the Hawks/Mavs part goes down. Mavs get a young talent to test drive for six months and the Warriors get much needed C for their dynasty die in dignity phase without dipping into their picks or blwoing up their cap long-term. Not like the combo Horford/Porzingis has not worked before.
