We're dancing around it a little, but I think most agree. It's a matter of plausibility for some, I think.
Take on Young, IF it's the way to get that Pelicans pick (plus some other decent stuff, like Risacher and another pick or two). Without that pick on the table, I don't entertain solving Atlanta's financial troubles for even a second. I'm already giving them AD, for crying out loud.
Before anyone says "they wouldn't trade that pick" then go ahead and fill in my "then I'm not taking Young" response. That's a hard line for me. Even with that Pelicans pick, I don't love the idea of having to deal with Young next year, so I hope they're able to get off of him this summer in some fairly productive way.
Now...in a deal based around Porzingis, I might be inclined to accept less. Less than some, anyway, but I'd probably still hold out for more than others would.
