I think they´ll find a deal with the Hawks, cause there are multiple positive factors at play.
1. Hawks don´t own their pick, but it will still be valuable to the Mavs.
2. Hawks do own the Pelicans pick. Retaining that pick, they can sell as a win for their fans.
3. Risacher is a former #1 pick, which the Mavs can sell as a win, despite not getting the Pelicans pick.
I had to guess it will get done as AD for Porzingis + Risacher + Hawks 2026 1st round pick. Maybe they move some pieces around the edges, but that will be the core deal.
