Hell, I'm OK with being bad. But you need to play AD if he's healthy. And when he and Kyrie are healthy, you can't tell them not to compete.
No one is going to be happy with the results of the AD trade. It's not possible. That was the worst trade in sports history. We arent going to be happy with the offers at the TDL, and we're not going to be happy with the offers in the summer. There is no being "happy" with AD. But we are going to have to trade him at some point. No GM with a lick of brains will extend him. Even ours ... whoever it is.
We are probably going to play Kyrie when he's healthy. At this point in the season, you can't really tank and not have it be obvious. The fan base is just going to have to live with whatever season record we have. We just have to find whatever trades we can to make us younger. I don't care anymore about getting the right "value" for AD. We never will. We just need a GM to do everything in their power to make us younger. AD and Kyrie have to be turned into picks and youth. It won't be enough, but that's all on Nico. I think the Mavs just have to move on. The sooner the better.
