I think my issue was confusing a perceived lack of quickness with just adjusting to this level of competition.

I knew he'd be quick enough (before there was talk of him playing PG, at least). I didn't realize how freaking STRONG he was, and I damn sure didn't know how explosive of a jumper he was, either.
