The point being, you don't have to win the Jokic-vs-_____ matchup. You just have to find a way to win more games. Or any other specific matchup. Or win using any specific style of play. You just have to have a way to compete and get past the other team.
The argument was they can't handle size and used Denver as example. I am simply arguing I think it was less about size and more about Jokic. Its easy to say just find a way to win more games, but a lot harder to do. Look at the last 10 NBA champions and show me one that did not have elite creation. Most of them had a top 5 creator in the NBA. Boston was probably the farthest away with Tatum, but he had Brown, Jrue and White next to him. Its almost impossible to compete at the highest levels without that kind of creation, and there is nothing about this roster that suggests they were going to be the ones to do it.
